Log Slice Ceremony

Win, lose, or draw, the log slice ceremony is a beloved Timbers match day tradition. The club’s mascot, Timber Joey, presents a sawed off log slice to the Timbers’ goal scorers of the match, and to the Timbers’ goalkeeper if a shutout is achieved. This tradition has taken place in front of the Timbers Army section since the 1970s.
